Every-Other-Week. Pickup is the same day as your garbage service.
Please call the office to sign up and receive bins for your recyclable
materials.
Materials
Aluminum
Cans & Tin Cans
Rinse clean. Remove paper labels. No aerosol or paint cans.
Glass
Bottles & Jars
All colors, remove lids, rinse clean. Labels are okay. No light
bulbs, mirrors, dishware or window glass. For our Drivers' Safety,
NO BROKEN GLASS.
Newspaper
With The Inserts & Ads
Remove plastic bags, banding straps and rubber bands. Place flat
in bottom of bin.
Scrap Paper - MUST be kept separate from the newspaper
Junk mail, magazines, catalogs, office papers and paper cartons.
No plastic coated paper, milk cartons or food packaging from fridge
or freezer. No food on paper. Place inside of a paper grocery
sack but no plastic bags. Place full scrap paper sack on top of
the newspaper in bin.
Plastics
Bottles only. Any color or resin type. Rinse, remove lid and flatten.
No plastic tubs, film plastics, No oil or anti-freeze bottles.
Place in your own reusable container not to exceed 32-gallons;
no plastic bags.
Cardboard
Flatten and bundle with tape or string, not to exceed a 2ft by
3ft by 1ft high pile. Cut large boxes down to size. No waxed cardboard.
Set next to recycle bins.
Batteries
Lead/acid car batteries only. Household batteries go in the garbage.
Used Motor Oil
Use only a 1-gallon screw top plastic milk jug. Limit 2 gallons.
Set next to recycling bins. No anti-freeze. No oil contaminated
with water, antifreeze, engine flush or solvents.
